Rooted in the halls of MIT and Harvard, the collective expertise of our founding team and advisory board at Crimson Founders spans a diverse spectrum of industries, encompassing Private Equity, Venture Capital, Entrepreneurship, Manufacturing, Technology, Life Sciences, Finance, and Healthcare.

 

Our mission is to expand the global reach and impact of the remarkable talent, inventions, and innovations coming from MIT and Harvard, build meaningful and targeted connections and collaborations, and contribute to MIT's motto, "Mens et Manus," and "Building a Better World" and to Harvard’s mission, “Advancing New Ideas”.

Anoosheh Kalantari

Anoosheh is the co-founder of Crimson Founders, a network designed to support MIT and Harvard startups by connecting founders with investors, partners, and potential team members. Through Crimson Founders, she and her team organize events like Demo Days and conferences focused on AI, energy, and entrepreneurship, with an emphasis on bridging global innovation, opportunities, and initiatives with talent from MIT and Harvard.

Anoosheh Kalantari is also the Chief Operating Officer and board member at Six Star Bulk Bag, a vertical packaging manufacturing company based in the Middle East. She led the expansion of the company’s production line, resulting in a fourfold increase and securing the country’s largest market share. She co-founded one of the largest manufacturing sector organizations in the region and is an investor in Guofu Hydrogen Energy Equipment Technologies in the UAE.

She has been involved in several MIT initiatives, organizing events and pitch competitions for the MIT community, including the MIT Female Founders Pitch Competition and high-profile events featuring Dr. Jordan Peterson, General David Petraeus, and Dr. Andrew Lo.

Anoosheh holds an MBA from the MIT Sloan School of Management, a BASc in Electrical & Computer Engineering from the University of Toronto, and an AAS and BFA in Fashion Design from Parsons School of Design.

Cristina Dolan

Cristina Dolan is a renowned advanced technology executive, and executive cyber advisor for Crimson Vista, currently serving on the boards and audit committees of several prominent public technology companies involved with Industry 5.0 technologies. At RSA Security, Netwitness, she held key leadership roles, including Managing Director for LATAM, Head of the Americas Channel, and Global Head of Alliances.

 

An accomplished entrepreneur, Cristina launched startups such as iXledger, a cyber insurance marketplace focused on advanced technologies, and was CEO of an MIT AI Spin-off she commercialized before orchestration acquisition.  She is also a co-founder of Additum, a European 'Value Based Healthcare' ecosystem. Currently, Cristina is a Senior Lecturer at Columbia University’s Technology Management Program and has contributed to the World Economic Forum’s cybersecurity publications and authored books on ESG and Data. Her career includes executive roles at IBM, Oracle, Disney, and Hearst, as well as leading the MIT AI spin-out, Wordstream.

 

Cristina’s achievements have been recognized with numerous accolades, including the Harold E. Lobdell Distinguished Service Award from MIT and the Coup de Coeur du CEFCYS Cybersecurity Europe award.  She earned a Master of Science degree from the MIT Media Lab and a Master of Computer Science and Bachelor of Electrical Engineering degree.

Sam Heuck

Sam is a Vice President at Compounding Labs, a private investment firm investing in recurring revenue businesses over multi-decade holding periods. He focuses on software investment activities and supporting portfolio companies. He has a decade of operating and investing experience in both the U.S. and Asia. His experience has spanned supporting start-ups to 100+ year-old family businesses, as well as a focus on new market entry. His past roles have included leading two manufacturing companies as a General Manager in China, where he oversaw commercial and production activities. Prior to Compounding Labs, Sam worked in investing roles with Schematic Ventures and Anzu Partners in the industrial technology space. Sam earned his B.A. from Kenyon College and his MBA from the MIT Sloan School of Management.
